| A brief history... Back in the 1940's, neighbors and folks around Vermilion parish of Louisiana starting hearing the Cajun music played by the three Touchet brothers, from a large Cajun farm family in Kaplan. Arconge "Tee-Con" Touchet contributed a distinctive steel guitar sound, his brother Willis played fiddle and Iday and later sister Eva (guitar) and brother Elier (accordion) joined the band.
