| A brief history... Back in the 1940's, neighbors and folks around Vermilion parish of Louisiana starting hearing the Cajun music played by the three Touchet brothers, from a large Cajun farm family in Kaplan. Arconge "Tee-Con" Touchet contributed a distinctive steel guitar sound, his brother Willis played fiddle and Iday and later sister Eva (guitar) and brother Elier (accordion) joined the band. They were very popular regionally, playing at house dances, and later in area night clubs.
