Created by members of the First Baptist Church of Ville Platte, this cookbook celebrates the past and embraces the future. They are a church of old and new. Their mission is simple. To love. To Serve. That mission also reflects their culture. They are loving, helpful people. The recipes they shared here are infused with memories of love, family, friendship and togetherness. All proceeds go towards the purchase of an industrial stove for their new kitchen so they may continue to fellowship and serve in capacities beyond just cooking and to reach out to others in genuine caring.
