The extraordinary talent of Abe Manuel Jr. speaks for itself on these recordings… All but two of these novel, smart, funny & good-time tunes were written or co-written by Abe Jr., and the heart & soul he’s put into this album is obvious the first time you hear it. The title track, “Swire from Grand Chenier,” was the biggest single on southwest Louisiana radio in 2008 & you can bet that the rest of the songs on this CD fit right in with it.
