Jean-Pierre Blanchard, a veteran accordionist, harmonica player and vocalist, was inspired by the late Zydeco King, Clifton Chenier. He got hooked on Zydeco because he says, “It has a certain spirit to it. It’s got heart, it’s got soul, it’s got happiness.” PUMP IT UP captures all the exciting spirit and dance rhythms of Zydeco music. Released in 1998, 10 tracks.
