The New York Times named Leroy Thomas, “The Jewel of the Bayou,” after viewing one of his performances in the Big Apple. He’s been performing since he was 18, and he and his band, The Zydeco Roadrunners, have performed over the years in 39 states and 3 foreign countries. In 2009, they performed at a private Mardi Gras party in Houston for Mr. & Mrs. George Bush, Sr. The band sometimes wonders what’s coming up next!
